The Province Of Cardiz:
Cadiz is one of the most well known provinces of Spain. It
has gained immense popularity and is a great tourist destination.
Tourist flock this province for its delectable Sherry, beautiful
white villages and beaches. The Sierra de Grazalema Natural
Park is a popular tourist spot as it is the rainiest part
of Spain. It’s the perfect paradise for windsurfers,
birdwatchers and for all nature lovers. Phoenicians, Greeks
and Romans had largely contributed in developing the various
fishing ports along its rugged coastline.
The Jerez City:
Jerez de la Frontera has gained popularity in the far reaches
of the world for it’s; wines, fine horses and graceful
flamenco dance form. "Sherry" as the British call
it, is produced here and has been tingling the taste buds
of wine connoisseurs the world over.
The city of Jerez, with its wide streets and old fashioned
squares has maintained its rich flavor even today by partially
restoring the 11th century Moorish fortress. , or Alcazaba,
has been partially restored. The city also boasts of a beautiful
church which was originally built as a mosque by the Arabs.
The Sacristy of the Cathedral del Salvador is home to a lovely
painting by Zurbarán, The Sleeping Girl.
